Hi, I’m Taylor, the heart and hands behind qt captures, based in Queenstown and always ready to chase love stories across Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Originally from Australia with Kiwi roots, I’ve spent the last decade working in events and marketing. I’ve always been drawn to stories, connection, and the kind of joy that fills a room and makes your cheeks hurt from smiling. I also happen to be a hopeless romantic who really, really loves love.

After falling for the wild beauty of Queenstown’s mountains, lakes and long golden hours, I packed up and made this postcard town home. These days, I share it with my photographer partner and our four-legged sidekick Barnaby, a loyal, slightly scruffy hunterway-collie who joins us on mountain escapes and is driven by affection and occasionally food.

qt captures is all about real love, real laughs, real time. While your photographer focuses on the picture-perfect, I’m catching the not-so-posed: the pre-aisle jitters, the sneaky kisses, the dance floor moves, and everything in between. All captured on the day and delivered before your shoes come off.
